Welcome Home – Your Guide to Serenity and Safety
Dear Guests,
What a joy to welcome you to your next "escale"!
At Escales and Heritage, we strive to ensure your stay is a luxurious, comfortable, and safe interlude.
To preserve the integrity of this exceptional place and the peace of our neighbours, we have established a few essential rules. They are designed not to restrict you, but to guarantee that everyone can fully enjoy their time here in complete safety.
1. Safety and Specific Precautions Electric Vehicles (Fire Safety):
For imperative safety reasons, charging electric vehicles is strictly prohibited on-site. The building's electrical installation is not designed to handle this additional load, posing a real risk of overload and fire. Any attempt to connect an unauthorized charger will result in the immediate termination of your stay without refund. Non-Smoking: Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited indoors to preserve air quality and prevent persistent odours. Pets: No pets are allowed to guarantee hygiene and comfort for all our future guests.
2. Quiet, Respect, and Neighbourhood Life Quiet Hours:
Please observe absolute calm between 10:00 PM and 08:00 AM.
Our city is a living community where everyone's rest is precious.
No Parties: Gatherings, noisy parties, or undeclared events are strictly forbidden.
Only guests listed on the booking are permitted to stay here.
Visitors: For your security and that of the neighbourhood, no outside visitors (friends, unregistered family members) are admitted, even for a short period.
Subletting: Subletting or partial listing of this property on other platforms is strictly prohibited.
3. Remote Work and Comfort
You are very welcome to work remotely!
Our connections are optimised for this.
However, remote work must not turn into a social event or disturb the neighbourhood's peace.
4. Resource Management and Departure Waste:
Sorting is mandatory. Please strictly adhere to the bin collection times indicated in your welcome guide to avoid any issues with municipal services.
Energy and Water: Please be economical (turn off lights, air conditioning, taps) when leaving the property.
Check-out Time: Your departure must take place before 10:00 AM (or the agreed time) so our team can prepare the "escale" for the next guests.
5. Security Deposit (Mandatory)
To cover any potential damage, loss, or rule breaches, a security deposit is required before your arrival.
Amount: 900 €
Mechanism: This sum will be pre-authorised on your credit card (it is not charged immediately). It remains blocked until your departure.
Release: If no issues are identified during our inspection upon your departure or within the following 96 hours, the pre-authorisation will be fully released within 7 working days. It will only be debited in the event of an incident or misuse (damage, excessive noise, etc.)
Exceeding the deposit: Please note: The deposit is only an initial payment. If the cost of repairs, replacements or fines exceeds the amount of the deposit, you will remain fully liable for the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to charge the outstanding amount directly to your registered payment method or to pursue legal action to recover the sums due.
6. Liability and Emergencies
Every guest is liable for any damage caused to the property.
It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance covering civil liability.
In Case of Emergency: For technical or safety issues, contact our concierge immediately.
For life-threatening emergencies, dial 112.
